The Book Is Growing: 60,000-Word Edition Coming Soon

Six Countries, One Story started as a 10,000-word letter to a daughter. Now it's becoming a full literary memoir — 60,000 to 70,000 words — ready for literary awards and traditional publication.

The expansion is structured in four phases: integrating existing narrative blocks, developing incomplete chapters (England, France, Ireland, Norway, Today), adding philosophical interludes, and a final revision for cohesion.

The target is the Premio Mondello — one of Italy's most prestigious literary awards. The definitive 2026 edition is the single source of truth, with structured folders for all versions, translations, and publisher materials.

New elements being added include: “This Is Us”-inspired family scenes, paternal monologues, spiritual interludes, and expanded dialogue between father and daughter. Each chapter will be deeper, richer, and more emotionally resonant.
